Suede Last gig ever! Played some great sets, the gig seemingly got chopped short, we left to the ghostly strains of "We'll Meet Again"... I hope we do. Astoria
The Tears plus The Subways. First official gig for Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler's new band, though they went and did a couple of sneaky warmups before this in Oxford and somewhere else. Not that great really. Heaven
New Order Pissed down with rain. Crystal, Transmission, Regret, Ceremony, 60 Miles An Hour, Atmosphere, Brutal, Close Range, She's Lost Control, Bizarre Love Triangle, True Faith, Temptation, Love Will Tear Us Apart, (Encore) Digital (with John Simm), Blue Mond Finsbury Park
Turbonegro Whole lot of sailor hats in the audience, great gig! Mean Fiddler
Brian Wilson Yes of the Beach Boys, one to tick off the list. He was a bit unsteady on his feet but he had great support in recreating the perfect sound. Royal Festival Hall
David Bowie Plus Suede and Divine Comedy. It booted it down with rain, but we had a great time. Old Trafford Cricket Ground [Wednesday 10 July 2002]
Green Day Some special Radio One thing, got a nice freebie from friends I was about to start working with at Channelfly. Green Day picked some kids out of the audience and made them play a song. Kings College
Supergrass plus The Bluetones, a great gig, at a great time. The Joiners
Thurman Britpop, I thought they were the greatest at the time but it's not all aged well The Joiners
Longpigs See that, SIX in a row, Mansun, Perfume, Thurman, Fluffy, Gouge, Longpigs. At the time I thought what a GREAT time this is for music. The Joiners
