The Fall A benefit gig for a journalist Leo Finlay, with Ash and possibly Tiger and Formula 1. Matt Lucas was there. Possibly Travis also played... Mean Fiddler
The Tears plus The Subways. First official gig for Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler's new band, though they went and did a couple of sneaky warmups before this in Oxford and somewhere else. Not that great really. Heaven
Suede Fan club gig, played the new album, then a hits set, then a "wheel of fortune" set including best songs "My Dark Star" and "The Living Dead"... Electric Ballroom
Love / Hate Plus my first time (of many) of seeing Atom Seed, and a couple of other bands. Happy new year! The Marquee
